D16Z6 turbo manfiold ?'s

Ok so my D16Z6 is boosted and i currently am running a Rev hard log turbo manifold the waste gate is placed on only 1 or 3 of the runners.

What are some of the choices i have with the sohc. if you could post a link of where to find it that would be great to.

ANY INPUT is a good input

Also i goggled manifolds i found a company (ss auto chrome)

http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1349 there page

I was looking at this manifold

Prod.#
MVC-D16 TWISTED

D16 50MM DIAMETER SUPER SLAM TWISTED SOHC BLURR MANIFOLD

Price
$300.00

Has anyone ran one of these or know anyone who has? THANKS

your log manifold is more than enough for your power goals. an equal length top mount type manifold will not benifit you much unless your looking for high hp goals or racing applications. dont waste your moeny.

Yeah i just dont like the waste gate placement. I was looking at spoolin performance and go autoworks they have a really nice log for $300

check out this site: http://www.pfabrications.com/inc/sdetail/258.

i highly recomend pfabrications! I had their log manifold on my honda S2000 and it had excelent build quality. also, customer service was top notch as well!

also, the wastegate location is right in the middle of all four runners.

good luck man,
MeTz

thank you for the help this isnt my first turbo setup but before i didnt care so i had an ebay kit. A little noobish ?'s here and there to help me out

METZWRX 08-28-2011 11:14 PM

i dont think thats noobish. everyone asks questions at some point in time. thats how we learn. i had ebay turbo's before as well. had a 50 trim on my S2000 project and it worked just fine for what i needed.
it sure spooled up really quickly!

Yeah lol. And that manifold is the same as the spoolin performance and the go autoworks all the same price too lol what's a decent wastegate for a decent price

i had a Tial 38mm wastegate on my car. i believe that it was under 200 and is the best brand, in my opinion, didnt have any issues at all with it. i'm going to get a 44mm for my next project though. the bigger it is, the better boost control you will have.

greddy1387 08-29-2011 12:10 PM

Yeah i've always heard to get tial. im not looking for crazy power maybe 300 350hp

METZWRX 08-30-2011 03:16 PM

i'd get the 38mm Tial. FTW!!!
