Many may rember this setup for a while back that we did for our buddy Ivan
but now we have finally got some dyno numbers to back it up. The setup: Stock d16z6 (for now ;) ) Garrett T3 48 ar exhaust 60 ar intake tial 35mm wastegate bmc 2.5" 304 polished stainless charge lines, air filter tube, bov vent back tube bmc 304 log manifold bmc 304 full 3" downpipe with FACTORY X MEMBER AND ZERO NOTCHING AND ZERO DENTING bmc 304 dumptube johnnyracecar new style 8" intercooler neptune tuned by Jason @ Autologic 1000cc rc injectors greddy type s bov http://bmcrace.com/DSC02881.jpg http://bmcrace.com/DSC02877.jpg http://bmcrace.com/DSC02878.jpg http://bmcrace.com/DSC02879.jpg http://bmcrace.com/customerscars/dyno-ivan-s.jpg Red is 15psi of boost Blue is 4 psi of boost Tuning was done at Autologic on Jason's new DynoJet trq starts dropping off because the turbo isnt big enough for his setup HUGE THANKS TO JASON, AKA: ST00PID FOR MAKING IT HAPPEN! ps: the turbo he is using has aprox 120,000 miles on it so it is very warn out and doesnt flow what his engine needs. |

first thing i thought when looking on the chart....turbo too little.
looks like you guys are already plenty aware tho. NOW GET YOUR ASS BACK TO WORK. Dan (perfek360's) been waiting 8 days on a reply for a manifold. |

WOW, 1000cc inj! And does the hood close with the vent tube there?
Any Special Reason for Recirculating the BOV? No MAF so why? Just Curious. |

I've heard that venting the bov back into the intake allow the turbo to spool back up faster. Thats just a "I hurrrrrd about if you....." type thing though so you know how these things get started.

I could see where that would come from, but the excess pressure would take the least restrictive path, and even thought the turbo is pullin in air, I think the excess pressure would surge towards the filter, not the turbo. |

damn, i bet al that piping took foreer to do, looks good thouh
but i think it would be a lot less crammed if you put the BOV on the pipe coming up to the T-body then to your intake |
