D16y8 Turbo questions

Ok one thing is for sure, I am turbochargin my minime d16y8. Questions I have: can I run 8psi all the time with stock internals, or do i need to stay at 6 daily and 8 when racing. Also, I heard that something needs to be mapped or remapped with the ECU, is this ture? If so what? ALso, If I run VAFC do I need FMU? I know I need injectors and a fuel pump, but other than what I just mentioned installation is pretty straight forward right?

Thanks
TT

Re:D16y8 Turbo questions

www.Hondata.com www.Zdyne.com Depending on what ECU you are using, you can chip it for less. DON'T use an FMU or Rising rate regulator. DO NOT! If your fuel/spark is properly tuned you can run 8psi everyday on 91+ gas. check the FAQ/projects pages. But remember, 8psi from a T25 is not the same as 8psi from a larger T3/T4. Late

Re:D16y8 Turbo questions

check out the above sites. all you need with their ECU is larger injectors.....junk all that FMU crap and even use your stock fuel pump! (although I would upgrade for safety) all you need is their base setting, and the boost feature.
