D16y8 turbo or n/a

I have been thinking about going two routes with my car....Either too find me some Viatara pistons with ls rods, and lower the compression somehow and go with a custom turbo setup, or wire vtec, get a vafc unit and build the motor and roll around N/A. If I were to go custom turbo setup I would use a te04h turbo from the old LeBaron 2.2t. I already have the turbo, and I have a y8 oil pan with a welded in t bracket. The car is a 4 door sedan, swapped in a d16y8 with 120,000 miles...Very clean motor, arp head studs, and a brand new oem honda head gasket. I figured I would ask your guys' opinion because you know your stuff about the kind of power "junkyard" turbo setups can produce.

okay let me rephrase the question. is the te04h turbo worth the time? or should I find myself a dsm turbo? the only reason I said n/a is cause I haven't heard of many people using the te04h turbo so I figured it was poo.

yes you are a nube.. but you dont have to be one just take good advice..

get a hf mani weld that shitty turbo to it get you self some fuel management crome+bigger injectors or some ---- and boost it will be fun cuz you get instant low end power that hondas never have..
my first turbo set up was a ihi vj11 off a old ass subaru GL welded to a hf manifold wiht a stick welder..
side mount ic home depo connector and volvo charge pipes and silicon connectors management was a injector in the charge pipe before the tb and and a $5 pressure switch from hsc electronics activated it....
it was my first set up it was fun but too bad it only lasted a 2 weeks it blew my head gasket from detonation cuz first i didnt even have any fuel management ( i had a windshield washer fluid injected into the inlet of the turbo.. lol.. water injection)then i got that injector in there ------ rigged it into the pipe wiht some jb weld and then the turbo shaft got all wobbly and ----(not to mention how bad it was when i bought it) and took a dump but just get the management taken care off and you should be good and if the turbo takes a ---- oh well it was only 45$ get a better on little bit bigger, newer less wobble in the -----.. and your good
