why wouldnt the intake handle that? im currently using a my stock plastic intake on my vehicle and running 10 psi through it will no issues. the stock intake on any vehicle should withstand way more boost than you could every throw at it.

I was just wondering cause I cant find anyone that has a boosted y7 that kept the intake. all the ones i search for swapped to the y8 intake I was just wondering if that was absolutely neccessary.

i just googled the difference between the two intakes. if definitely looks like the 07 intake manifold flows much better but thats the only difference i can see. it looks as if the 07 intake will make more power and thats why people swap them. you shouldnt have any issues using your stock intake
