D16y5 budget build
Im new to the forum and want to post up my budget build im starting..
Im boosting my 97hx completely stock.. I have a boosted gsr making 400whp but I dont like the lag so im aiming for a nice wide power band I only aim for making 200whp. I got a hf manifkld and adapter plate I got 450cc dsm's. I got a p28 a dsm side mount bov all I need is a turbo im looking for a 14b turbo but havent found it yet. Im planning on making my bay look as stock as possible. My first question what other turbo can I look for that can make my goal possible. I read a thunder bird turbo is good. Wich turbo should I look for that is cheap? Ill post up some pics later. Im putting on my own cutout too using a 65mm throttle body off a tl and the cruise control to open it.. |
ON e-bay they got some cheap turbo kits which i have bought one but did not install it yet. however, would you know if D16 pistons and rods would fit in a D25 B7?

you can get a DSM t25, 16g, 13g from a 1st gen auto DSM. any of them will work. I had the t25 on my z6. Made 235whp and was at full boost(10 psi) around 3800rpm's
|
sorry! i meant to say if D16 pistons and rods will fit in a D15 B7 block? because they have a good deal on it at ebal, and i would like to buy them. but not to sure if they fit without any machine work. and would you know if there is a transmission or transmission show that could help me make the car go faster than 125mph?
