The D-series was specifically engineered and divinely appointed to run 10 pounds.

I ran 14psi on mine for a while b 4 it finally took a ---- and that was on a basemap. if it were tuned im sure it would have lasted alot longer. also whats to be scared of those engines are a dime a dozen, well atleast here in baltimore they are. deff. go for more then 5psi or else u probably will not be satisfied also i think even on just a basemap from xenocron it would last a long time on 10 psi. tuning is the key for longevity of an engine. check the compression if you dont know what kind of shape the engine is in after the previous owner.
