Default d series oil pan

I'm looking for a spare oil pan for my d16z6. Are all d series oil pans interchangable? Did a search and nothing came up. Thanks in advance.

I used a old ZC browntop from my '87 CRX oil pan on my 92 EG hatch with a D15B2 engine...it fit like a charm...a bit different from the inside, but the same on the outside

If you can't get a solid reply here. try a search at http://turbod16.no-ip.com/

Those guys know pretty much everything about what will fit where on a D16

The 96+ oil pans are totally different, they won't even bolt up to the older 88-95 blocks.

The 92-95 Z6 oil pick-up tube goes down further than the 88-91 A6/B2 pick-ups, so you can't bolt a 88-91 pan to a Z6 engine unless you also swap out the oil pick-up tubes.

The Z6 oil pan will fit on the A6/B2, but the oil straner will be a little higher than its designed to. Is that a really bad thing ?? I'd of said yes about 8 months ago, but my friends running a Z6 pan on his A6, and its fine..
