Cutsum Turbo Please Help!!!
 

I have a 95 acura integra with a 94 GS-R motor 1.8 DOHC VTEC, that I installed. I want to do a custum turbo setup on it and want to do junkyard parts but I dont know what turbo i should get and what all I will need to make it work. I also want to do like 6psi or whatever I can do that is completly safe and can be used for daily driving with little or no problems. Please send me some helpful responces on what all I am going to need from scratch and what turbo i should use and manifold and how to make it all work together with out emptying my wallet. which is why im doin junkyard plus i dont want alot of boost. thank you for your help, please respond!!!

Alright im gonna put this as simply as possible. There is not A SINGLE person on this board who built their own turbo setup and didnt have to do SOME amount of research. Any fool can spin wrenches all day long and not have a clue what the ---- they are doing. IF you dont KNOW what you are doing, then you cant very well spend the time working on your car now can you???? Do you understand this verrrrrry simple concept???

Let me guess, you got beat by some douche at your highschool/college in a mustang/transmarobird and now you wanna go faster right? Thats all well and good but you gotta put forward the time and effort if you intend to do it yourself.

HMT can be a rough place especially for n00bs. Read the stickies, lurk around and read some worth threads, search (go to stickie in GD on how to search), and then if you're stumped on something post it up, ONCE. No need for multiple threads and trust me your question WILL get answer. You're new and asked a general n00b question hence the slight (and I mean slight) hazing. There are other 'decent' people on here, just do as I said and you'll be fine.


There IS safe boost to answer that question and no no one is wanting to blow a motor especially a C1 or DD. Look around and chill out. Take the flaming with a grain of salt and people enough with the "kill yourself" stuff. Sheesh.

its not that i want you dead, and its not that i contribute a great amount to THIS forum, you nailed it though, i was able to be a member of this forum for TWO years without making 6 noobish threads like youve already done... the point of ANY forum isnt to cater to ANYONE... your asking questions that no-one wants to awnser cause theyve been awnsered dozens of times... when you start threads like "cutsum turbo please help!!!" hello!!!! this site is dedicated to doing non-stock turbo setups, but yours is far from custom, and you have no real question that you cant awnser yourself... sometimes ill be helpful if its something that isnt exactly easy to find... im a decent person, you probably are too, hell 3 years ago, i had no idea how turbo's/wastegates/FPR's/BOV's/ECU's/MAF's worked...
