Default custom supercharger

has anybody out there tried to use a cummings turbo compressor housing as a belt driven supercharger? and will or wont this work?

You'd have to have a pretty tiny pulley on there, or a gigantic crank pulley.

I believe most centrifugal superchargers are gear driven internally that multiplies the speed quite a bit.

it would basically be a useless exercise.

You need enough gearing to turn 7000rpm engine speed to 60,000 or so rpm compressor speed.
