custom liquid to air intercooler system over boosting problems
i upgrade to a liquid to air intercooler, everything works fine. Problem is now my prelude is overboosting. i am running a ssautoshitty turbo manifold, and 2" piping off the turbo to the water to air intercooler. could it be possible that the wastegate placement on that manifold is causing the wastegate not the be able to bypass exhaust gas fast enough or that my hotside charge pipe is to small, making it to easy for the turbo to build boost?
setup info: garrett t3/ t04e stage 3 turbo .60/63 2.5" downpipe tial 38mm wastegate with dumptube 12x12x4.5 liquid to air intercooler 2" hotside piping 3" cold side piping ssauto manifold |

Re: custom liquid to air intercooler system over boosting problems
wastegate may be stuck, sticking or try lowering the setting on your boost controller so it opens sooner.
you could also have someone rev it while you check the dump tube for exhaust flow at the max psi |
