Default ct26 to big?

i will be turboing my b16a pretty soon and i got a killer deal on this turbo but was wondering if it will be too big. its the ct26 off of the mk3 supra but it has been rebuilt by PT (performance technique) and had a 62 trim wheel installed. i dont car about lag seeing how this thing dosent make much power til like 5k. im only gonna be running the stock 6.8psi and was hoping this thing would make full boost around 6-7k?

From other's comments I've read it should hit full boost between 4k-5k rpm. BTW watch for cracks around the wastegate flapper. The guys on the Celica, Supra and MR2 have documented a tendency for the single inlet(Supra) CT26's to crack in that area. Since yours is rebuilt it should be fine.

The CT26 is way to big. I tried one on my B16a. Wouldn't spool at all. So I took it to my local Turbo shop. He said it wouldn't spool because of the 7MGTE's (supra straight 6) exhaust air flow is quite substantial to that of the b16a. Even at 8300rpm.
Go with a 14b 16g T3 or a T3/t40e hybrid
Toyota has other turbos that wil work, the ct20 would work fine.
