Default CT-26/F22B2 Help

I want to boost my f22b2 with my ct26 off my old supra. Now this is going to sound really bad but which way does the compressors intake side face? Im tryin to figure out my manifold options, and if i face it intake side towards the drivers side, the compressor outlet will face the block :P, and the other way, the exhaust housing sticks out to far. if i ditch the stock wg, can i rotate it? anyone done or seen anything like this? any help would be appreaciated thanks

You can still rotate it, but you'll need a little bracket for the wastegate.

I don't know if it's the same on the Supra CT26, but on the ct26, the compressor outlet faces (if you're looking at the turbo from the compressor side) at about 50-60 degrees or so. This is when the turbine outlet is at about 90 degrees.

on mine, if your looking at the cold side, so the "toyota ct26" reads the way it should, the compressor outlet will face the block. are the MR2 ct26's different? what do you run? and which lines are oil in and out and which are coolant? still trying to figure this out. thanks

o, see mines a little different. My exhaust inlet is at 90 degrees with the compressor outlet. see if you rotate yours a few degrees, then both the outlet of the compressor and the inlet of the exhaust point in the same direction.

Does anyone know which line is which oil/coolant, i cant find anything about it. And i wasnt there to take it off my old motor.

damn kid... You can rotate the housing by loosening the clamps on the center housing rotating assembaly (CHRA), pulling off the side you need to rotate (preferabely the compressor side), pull out the dowl pins, turn and retighten.

the oil and coolant lines on a ct enter and exit on the same side. i.e. you'll see a pair of holes (or hoses), one of them is the coolant in and coolant return. these will be the two moderately sized holes (1/4" probably and the same size)

on the other side is the oil feed and return. If you still have the lines, this will be the one with the banjo bolt for oil feed, and a large 1/2" hose/hole for the oil return. Good luck, a ct is a sweet turbo if you've got one laying around

Nice! Thanks man! But, if i do rotate, should i just get a external wg bung welded to the new manifold, or just make a bracket and use the stock one

either or, internal wastegate is generally considered easier, but maybe not in your case. the ct compressor side has no real mounting holes for a wastegate other than where it is currently positioned. I would probably run an external. The stock downpipe elbow on them is also garbage. if you need a external wastegate dp flange (with a blockoff hole for the internal gate) i can make one for you on the cnc machine here at school. I was gonna use one on my ----, but i decided to go with a t3/t4 instead.

You have to make an L bracket to use the waste gate. Supra ct26's are mounted verticaly. Toysrme. Thats a celica ct26 you pposted up. The supra ct26'es compressor housing would point directly back at the block. I have one sitting here on my desk. THe oil and coolant lines are on the same side the feed line is pretty small and the return is probably the same as a nickle in diameter. I have the hard lines sitting here too. The water lines are both the same size and they're both black.
