ct 26

Is a ct 26 a decent sized turbo for a "built" z6? How big is a ct26 and does anyone have any compressor maps for it? thanks

if you already have the turbo, id say ---- it and use it.. but if your considering buying one, i would just stick with the T series turbos. This way, if and when you need a bigger/smaller turbo later on, there are so many to choose from and they are cheap.

ct26 could also be from a celica all-trac. both split and singular inlet.
any would be fine, but for a built D, I would use the Supra turbo.
You could always swap cold sides later as an upgrade if you get the smaller ct26.

How much HP is attainable with a supra ct26, and how much lag would I expect with one of them? Is there a site out there that has a compressor maps and measurements for them? thanks for the help so far.

Re: ct 26

no compressor maps for a ct. with a built motor, its not that bad of a turbo. Probably similar to a t3/t4. spool will most likely be around 4500. on a 3liter supra engine, the turbo can make 300 hp at 14psi. On a d16 at 20, im sure it can belt out a bit more (which should certainly be enough for you)
