Default CRX Si Turbo Project (D16A6)

Okay, here's my project specs:

Turbo Setup:

T3/T4 Turbo
Ebay FMIC
SRE Intercooler Piping
Stealthmode Oil Lines
Chipped PM6 for Turboedit
Willem Chip Burner w/ a variety of 28-pin EPROMs
DSM 450cc injectors (Don't think I need the resistor box? Am I correct with that?)
Walbro 255 lph Fuel Pump
Motorola 2.5 bar sensor MPX4250
Greddy Type-S BOV

Internals:
Delta 272 Camshaft
Cometic MLS Head Gasket
YCP or Nippon 8.5:1 compression Pistons
SRM 4340 Forged Steel H-Beam Rods w/ ARP Bolts
ACL Duraglide Main Bearings

I'm having a shop bore out the sleeves .020 for the pistons and i'm also having them do some valve work (My CRX smokes a sh*tload above 3000 rpms). I'm also having that shop install the rods to the pistons. I'm going to have the exhaust shop throw together a 3" all the way back to a 3" Turbo Megan-racing muffler.

Think this setup would be capable of 20 psi? I'm trying to shoot for 250 to 300 hp on the D16A6 for UNDER $2000...

Input is nice.

I think that is a reasonable goal.I would have sprung for SRP or similar pistons though as why go through all the trouble of building a motor to have low compression and cast pistons.Do it once and do it right.

I'd go with 9:1 compression for more power, especialy with forged rods. it'll support 20psi.

Yeah I definately never go forged rods with cast pistons. IMO it's just a waste running forged rods while having cast pistons hold you back. You also won't need a resistor box.

everything looks good, but your piston choice is shitty. all that money to drop another set of cast pistons in there>? thats homo
