i upgrade my 89 crx si fuel pump with a walbro pump on the way home my car died on me try starting it back up didnt want to..towed it home..drop the tank and the ground wire got shorted..so i think my fuel pump burnt..checked the main relay and it still work..do yall think my fuel pump is gone?

 

take it ou and put power directy to it and find out

 

Damn, that sucks. Glad I made my EF so I could get to the tank from inside the car through the top like the EG's. :P How exactly did you "short" the ground wire?

 

the ground wire was too long and it got cought in the tank when i was puting it down and i gusse it short the pump out will find out tomm when i drop it the 3rd time

 

Take a sawzall to the inside of your car right above where the pump sits...will make your life so much easier if you're having this many problems with it. And when you're done just cut a piece of sheetmetel to cover the hole, use some seam sealer and sheetmetal screws, and voila'!
