is there any special procedure for crushing the top in? Im sure you dsm guys have a link?

 

here's some steps, make sure to follow them exactly!

1. put bov on pipe
2. install pipe in car
3. prepare surface
4. wipe hammer down with towel
5. wipe bov with towel
6. mark x on top of bov
7. aim precisely
8. take a swing...
9. double check amount of crush
10. take another swing.



that about covers it, crush safely

about 2mm is all you need, no pic needed, barely visable.

true, they should hold 15psi fine uncrushed.

 

exactly my point. no need unless ur fully built with a large sized turbo for some reason. even donald had some compressor surge with his and it was uncrushed.
