Crushed or Un-Crushed
That is the question. What does crushed and un-crushed mean? I did a search and came up with for sale ads. ???

uncrushed is good to 20psi if i remember and crushed up to 30. i remember seing a write up about it but dont remember where

that what i got from a dsmforum i go to. i was in a first gen that the stock one that held to 18 so i figure they were about right but if not feel free to correct me

There's a spring inside that is only good to a certain pressure before it starts to leak boost past it. Crushing the top helps the spring have more tension and hold more pressure without leaking.

I had a 1gen bov uncrushed on my crx and it held 19 psi constantly.
