Crower Forged rods

I've got an F22b1 and I purchased pistons and and a valvetrain assembly to beef up the internals for some larger amounts of boost. I have looked everywhere and called everyone and the only place I can find some forged rods is Crower... No F22 econo rods so I'm lookin at 692.00 for a set. How much hp do you think I could run without the rods?

crower rods handle pretty much anything you could possibly throw at them
if you want 1000hp upgrade the rod bolts to the stronger ones

Ive lookd into this same question about the strength of stock f22 rods...What I came up with after a few weeks of looking around on differant forums at peoples setups was that f22 stock rods can handle around 300-350 hp.

I know the price for forged f22 rods sucks if you want to buy em for a B or a D series 300 bucks is all you need at most and you can find em all day long..When you call somewhere and ask about f22 part the person on the other end gets confused and acts like your an idiot.

lol yea, had that happen a few times... I did find a shop in texas that i can send my stock rods to to have them peened and balanced for $200 (with shipping) but even that will take about 3 1/2 weeks total time.

What do the f22b rods look like in comparison to the f22a?

As fas as I know they are the same, I know at least the length is the same on both.

I just got back from besslers it's a you pull junkyard near here they have a really clean f22b2 there you can tell they haven't cleaned it up and it has no oil leakx at all I asked the guy about and all they want it 250 for it so my grab it up here in the next few days and use it for my turbo build. I dunno though I think the manifolds are differant.
