i went looking for an ic and injectors from an eclipse, after 2hours of climbing cars, on my way out i found a 1g!! the smic, 450cc injec, and the turbo were still on the car, score right?! well after taking the smic off and getting the injecs off (cars were stacked 3high, it was in top )and leaving the turbo on (seized) i proceeded to the counter (all excited, didnt expect to find anything) showed the ic, dude stared at it for a minute and said, "100" i about ---- a brick!! he said thats what they go for, i ask him if he knew what it was, he had no clue. so i pushed that to the side and went for the injecs, dude looked and said, "35" i was like cool, then he said, "EACH" WTF?! 140total for the injectors! i left everything, what a waste of time. not only was it a waste of time, but i almost got my *** bit off by a pitbull whos head was bigger than mine!! i'll try another yard next weekend...but i did manage to snip off some civic 5g ecu plugs and also got a 6g ecu(had water in it so no loss to them, i just need the clip side) some how it wondered into my bag...

 

injectors fit in your pocket for that price...

 

that was my plan but they were still wet with fuel, literally pulled'm off and walked to the counter...next time

 

haha i was going to do the same too, but they where still litterly dripping with fuel and you can seroiusly smell the gas

 

damn, 100 for an intercooler.

 

that dude was an -------...i wouldn't pay more than 60 bux for a SMIC, and you can get them for as low as 35-40 bux if you look around.

sheesh, you're better off buying ---- at dsmtrader.com for those prices.

 

Dude, that's the going price for I/Cs where I live too. Maybe it's because I'm young, or something. I can get a pair of fenders for $70CAD, an OEM spoiler for $30CAD... Other parts for dirt cheap. But the moment I bring them any part that can make my car go faster.. They want to jack me. The wanted like $400 for a turbo.. WTF?

I guess you should count yourself lucky you found a 1G though....

 

ICs look suspiciously like heater cores to full size vans. Okay, not really. But if you try to BS the guy you can't loose.
