It's CUSTOM! CUSTOM CUSTOM CUSTOM. Didn't you just post this on superhonda spelled 'costom' too a few hours ago? I already corrected you once ::)

14b is good, it'll work

Ya, dude, seriously, all of those questions are actually answered in the FAQ. Which should have been read. Then if that didn't contain an answer, maybe someone had already asked such a generic question.. maybe, uhm, *SEARCH* the forum. I don't know.. that may be a start. Then you probably wouldn't meet a new post with such resistance to answering your questions. :-\

Re:costom turbo?

The 14b will not work with the greddy manifold..

you will have to make a costom adapter plate.

the costom downpipe can be made at local exhaust shops, should range from 75-150 bucks mandrel.

I highly doubt AC will work with the setup either..

Re:costom turbo?

you people need to chill, ok first off if its a D16y8 then you should have a pre cat manifold, cut the fucken cat off since you dont need it anyway, hell, i dont use one, and then make a "CUSTOM" adapter Plate out of 1/4" thick steel and weld it on to the manifold, then go and rip apart your little brothers playstation (model:5501) and take out the flat copper sheet of metal(only works with a small turbo) and make yourself a gasket, hell i did that and it worked very good. make sure that you port out the inside of the manifold where the welds are to give you an even smooth exhaust flow, next, you bolt on the turbo.
then you make a "CUSTOM" downpipe or get an exhaust shop to do it. and well then comes all the hooking up of charge pipes and all the rest of the ----, well you can figure the rest out pretty much if you spend enough time on this site, but honestly its worth it, save your money and buy yourself a faster internet connection instead, because a good but custom turbo setup shouldnt cost you more then $600 dollars, and thats in canadian too. i paid like $560 for my turbo setup.

Dick! Way to contribute YOUR wealth of knowledge to the rest of the Honda community. And really mature at that. I was just pointing out that I responded to an identical post on SHO three hours ago, which may I add already contains the answers to his question, and a previous correction of his mis-spelling.
I apologize for the lack of knowledge on my part that mitsu turbos do not all bolt to the greddy manifold. In putting together my own kit, I never once came across a greddy manifold or a mitsu turbo. It just so happens that all t3's bolt to all t3 flanges (except two variations that have no differnt number to designate them) Nonetheless, your comment was no help in the matter, for Jeff had already corrected me.
As far as the answer I provided to his question, I merely commented on the fact that ALL turbo's work on ALL cars. How well can be argued, but the fact is, THEY ALL WORK within reason.
And on the subject of questioning my knowledge, why don't we just look around the board a little bit and see what I have contributed. I'll let my posts speak for themselves. It's stupid people like yourself that make people who drive imports seem like IGNORANT fools. As the saying goes: "A few bad ingredients can ruin the whole dish." A perfect example, I might add.

Thank you shortyz..

For those of us that are dedicated to this board, we share the frustration of shortyz. It gets old to have to waste time lookinf at the same posts.

Now, lets move on.. :-\

Re:costom turbo?

The only reason I made my comment is because you were going around and acting like a condescending know-it-all, and that isn’t very mature. And I have contributed by having 153 posts and I answering every email question I get about my setup. I’m not the world’s expert by far either but if I don’t know I don’t answer. As for looking around the board for your post, I could give two shits whether or not you post, there are only a handful of people that can answer most question correctly. How am I an ignorant fool? I’m not the one giving out false information and making fun of people how can’t spell then acting like you know everything. If you want to help the import community just answer the persons question and don’t be a smart ass. Dam I’m sick to talking to this moron.

Re:costom turbo?

I have to side with turbo and shorty i only post when i can't figure something out or something really gnawing at my brain and i can't figure it out. I try to help out as much as i can with what i know but when you start saying the word "custom" you need to do some major homework and not ask someone else to do the digging for you. You just can't cut and paste parts togather you need to find out what works with what. in other words read and search.
