Re:correcrt spark plugs
If you go to www.ngksparkplugs.com they have a part finder you can use. Once you find out what spark plug you need for the stock engine just get 1 or 2 steps colder depending on how much horsepower your making.

BKR7e-11 I believe is the one you want. Is anyone here good at reading plugs.. What do these tell you?

I;m not an expert but i would say you are running rich.Thats what the ones in my car looked like whan I bumped up the fuel pressure by 4 pounds.

Re:correcrt spark plugs
I think those look fine.
Those Iridiums???? BKR7E-11 is what you want. Hard to read (cant link full res pics :-\ ), but the 7 is heat range. http://a8.cpimg.com/image/F8/C5/1950...-016E0200-.jpg |
Re:correcrt spark plugs
Those are the stock platnum ngk.. the car was running horrible with them in. I switched over to autolite 3922 which is non platnum one range colder.. its running much better. I know the car is rich from the gas smell it has.. I hope to fine tune it soon. I think the platnums were too hot... if you look closely (you probably can't see it) The porcelin part kinda melted/glazed over.

Re:correcrt spark plugs
Use the NGK V-Power 7's
|
Re:correcrt spark plugs
Yeah use the v-power.Never use platimun its properties are really dense so they have high resistance.Copper is less dense there for it has less resistance and they are ideal becouse the copper ground electrode will not deform.Stay away from those silverstone ones though.Silver is less dense than copper so the ground electrode(the curved one on top)tends to deform cousing it to loose the proper gap.
