copper coils inside intercooler pipe for hybrid cooling

I am in the middle of ironing out all the details of my remote turbo project and I had a though about running small finned copper cooling tubes inside my charge pipes. the thought was either to coiling the copper tubes on the inside of the pipes or to just make 4 straight passes down a long stretch of charge pipes. Under my mustang i have a good 4.5' straight run where this could work out i think. I have been pricing the air-to-water intercoolers and they are a bit pricey and short. at least this way I could pump cooled water through out at least 80% of my charge pipes verses just 10 or 15 inches worth using the traditional barrel air-to-water intercoolers.

here is a pic of the copper tubing i was considering.

I imagine i one big challenge is properly sealing the copper inlet and outlet to the charge pipes so i don't encounter a boost leak,

the water pump and tank will be sitting in my trunk because I want to use a rather large tank setup, actually i will be using 2 tanks,

(cold water tank1) to (water pump) to (charge pipes) to (radiator) to (storage tank2) which only has access to (cold water tank1) by way of fine water mist nozzles.

does anything think my design will work? I know it sounds a bit overkill but....
