Yeah, mine broke off too and I need a new one also. I was going to use a thin bead of silicone, but I'm not so sure if that's a good idea... :-[

I wouldnt worry too much about that. Never done it, but doesnt look like it would matter too much. Throw some spooge on there.

You need that seal to correctly space the housing away from the compressor turbine. You can make a new one from a thin piece of cardboard, just get a protractor(thing you use to draw circles in school)and the piece of cardboard from the back of a spiral notebook.

Re:compressor seal?????

Well damn... That makes sense... I thought it was a gasket, but a spacer would be pretty important. Hhmmm. If it's a pretty vital part maybe I should find the right one somewhere. I took my compressor housing off and it was all chipped and just broke appart. Without the spacer/gasket in there the turbine still doesn't hit the housing. I don't know. Thanks for the help though. :)

There weren't any leaks or anything to worry about Jeff? I noticed the friggin' thing was thin as a sheet of paper. I might just put a small ammount of silicone or rtv in there just to help seal it up. But I'm glad to hear that someone else has had this problem and uh... didn't have any problems... hahaha. Thanks :)

*lol* just took mine apart today and my seal broke as well, how convenient to have someone post the same question I was just going to ask.

I have the little piece that broke off, can I just align back in with the rest of it and be square?
