COMPRESSION TEST AGAIN

K i just did a comp test last night and showed these results...

165-170-170-180 is this withing limits....
also after driving my car in boost the idle drops a good bit from around 1100rpms to 500rpms and trys to stall i coded it and got a code 3 and code 7
1995 d15b7 turbo...neways the tps sensor must be causing this drop in idle but what would cause it to do it after driving and then once i cut it off the car doesnt do it again until i drive for another 30-40 miles again..?

Re: COMPRESSION TEST AGAIN

it was my understanding you wanted your results to be equal within 10psi across the cylinders but i really dont know if 15 is that big of a deal or not...i'm sure someone else on here'd know

Re: COMPRESSION TEST AGAIN

from what i rember in shop class, (which isn't much) it's supposed to be an average of no more than 10, so those numbers are fine,

What are the codes, i know 3 & 7 but what do the codes say ?!

If you haven't the slightest clue, go to schucks, they have a free code reading thingy there, (at least they do here)
and ask them to print you out a spec sheet of what's wrong,

You might allso want to hook up a fuel pressure gauge and moniter fuel pressure.

did you put bigger injectors ? or just boost it ?

You might want to just remove the charge piping from the turbo, run it N/A and see if that helps,

Let us know !
