Default Comp. housing questioin??

Hey, this may be a stupid question but im not sure. I just got my T3/T04b turbo and I was wondering if the part on the comp. housing that connects to the intercooler has to be pointing down? At this point mine is pointing toward the block. The place i got it from said that if i needed to adjust it I could and I can adjust it to face down but then the internal wastegate isnt fitting right. Im not sure what to do?

No it doesnt have to pointing down...it's all about how your piping will line up to the compressor outlet. You should be able to clock the turbo...run a search on 'clocking turbo'

Basically just loosen a few of the bolts and twist...but without pictures that explaination might be worthless to you.

Good luck!

You can rotate compressor housings with an internal wastegate.
