coldair/ charge pipe
Ok i have a cold air intake and was wondering can i use it as part of the charge piping for my turbo setup. And can i use the vacum line hole for the BOV. Thanks

yes you can use it for a charge piping route, and no u can not use that as a vacuum source for the bov

I don't think he meant using it as a vaccuum source, he meant using the hole to mount the BOV on.
If that is the case, you can do that. You are probably gonna want to enlarge the hole and then you will have to weld a flange on. You might even be able to get away with clamping a rubber hose on to the hole and then connecting it to your BOV depending on what type you get. |

is the cai 3" piping or 2.5" piping?

i belive its 2.5 its cold outside and dont want to go out and check. i will later when i go out to work on it when im not so tired

it'll work. i'm using a cold air intake as my chargepipe right now.. works great. i was too lazy to have it welded cause its aluminum and its hard to find someone to weld aluminum around here.. so i just mounted the BOV somewhere else.. (right before the intercooler) so it shoot air out side.. sounds pretty coool actually.
