Default Cold air intake for turbo

I made a CAI for my car. Air filter is in the driver's side fender well. Had to ditch the washer fluid. I routed the PCV and valve breather to a slash cut bung on the CAI. No mo blow by fumes under boost. It makes a whistling noise.

Is it really good to drill a 2" hole though your cars frame horn?

No, K&N. Sortof. I cut my knuckles. I rented a badass drill and metal holesaw for $12.

Is it really bad? It's significantly forward of any of the structural engine crossmembers. It might make the car slightly weaker in a crash, but I'm not too worried about it.

The 'relocation' of the turbos intake also allows some more benifits.... like the ability to run a larger filter and the ability to run a hose for the catch can.
