Re:Clutch

Brand new? You'll probably hold about 150 - 170 or so on a D series clutch. But, for how long? Not long if it's turboed. You'll burn through it in about 3 - 4 months if you WOT all the time..

Your best bet would be to get a little Stage 1 or maybe even Stage 2 or something..

Re:Clutch

i have a centre force dual friction for my 88 Si and it has good engagement but holds lots of power.

it will go out fairly quick, stock d-series clutchs and boost dont work well together.. :-\

Re:Clutch

Ya, my the nitrous on my Mini killed my stock clutch in about a month.

I went to a Clutchmaster's Stage 3 Clutch and lightweight aluminum flywheel.. Oooooo baby. It's thexy.

Some people said ti would be too much overkill, after a week of driving on it, it felt like driving a regular clutch to me.

But I looked like a dumbass driving my friend's cars because I would SLAM the cluthc pedal to the ground on thier's because it was so soft. ;D
