Re: clearnce questions
Why not cop a half rad? Another problem then is DP clearance between the exhaust housing and the rad fan, however you (Jon's idea on his set-up) can cut the shroud and it makes it 10x easier to fit a downpipe. I wrapped my shroud with fire blanket. It's working. The shroud on that area DOES get hot, but has yet to melt or anything. Heck, a 3-hr drive straight and it held fine.

Re: clearnce questions
I run an EF with a Dual Core Accord rad. I made my own adaptor plate so my turbo sit even further foward then most I've seen. I don't run coolant to my turbo, but when I had a Stock Civic rad in, I had no issues with clearance with coolant lines when I had them.
As for DP, I run a Prform 12" SLim fan to clear my 3" DP.
You'll be fine

Re: clearnce questions
well it is a after market radiator it seems to be very thin and the down pipe i bought off of a friend and it seems to clear fine i might have to notch out the front member a little bit to totally clear it but other wise it looks fine im just wondering if the front side of the turbo will slam into the radiator when its being powerd, im just hoping for a lucky shot here and that everything will clear but i dont know untill my manifold and adpater plate gets here... they wont be here for another week or so

Stiffer motor mounts perhaps to reduce engine rock? Maybe? I don't know. LOL.
