cleaning a turbo...

this might sound like a really stupid question, but anything i should stay away from when cleaning a turbo? i was just gonna take the housings off, and take some pb blaster to it. -maybe put it in the parts cleaner with some kerosene. will that hurt the seals or anything?

also, anything i should take into consideration when cleaning the WG?

i'm sure that as long as you don't get any kerosene in the oil inlet and drain you should be alright. but i'm not sure if i would completely submerge it in the parts cleaner

im gonna tear it apart and see what the inside looks like. if its not to bad, i wont touch it, but if it is, thats what im worried about. how to clean it.

I clean my first turbo with 409, windex and a small wire brush
Ran fine the time it was on the car
