Cleaned my IACV and still stumbles?

I cleaned my IACV today and my idle still stumbles from 1500 to 1200 and somtimes dies any ideas? Ive also checked all my vaccum lines. my setup is a d16a6 14b/hf manifold 450 injectors turboedit.

throttle body gasket, crank the t/b off nicely and you can probably just swab it with some high temp gasket maker and re-use the old gasket

Or you can go to Honda and grab a new one for $11 I think

Does your motor have an FITV under the throttle body? If so search FITV in the crx forum on Honda-tech, theres a big tutorial on how to adjust that

Maybe you dont have one, I dont

Also have you checked the voltage on your TPS at Idle and WOT? If you havent or dont know how pm me and I'll explain in detail, dont ust post cause I wont be back here Im sure lol

I can fix this no problem for ya, just need etails on your motor and if your sure your vac lines are perfectly in order

id be blaming some bad tuning before id be looking into hardware problems. probably goes way lean where it stumbles.

i get all my tuneing done by J-K so i HIGHLY doubt its tuning

i get alot of civics and other hondas that come into my dealership that stumble like that...there three reasons why idle can bounce or stumble for honda. 1 vacuum leak. 2 low coolant/ air in coolant ( most common ) 3. bad iac itself

I have the same problem. I throw an IACV code about 50% of the time even though I've swapped it with known good ones. My idle used to be rock solid until I switched my intake manifolds. My throttle body gasket is new too, maybe I just need a new tune, I dont know. >:(

theres probably a small leak arounds the intake manifold. also, if idle is high, i noticed that when an altenator is going out, the idle rasies.... the d16a6's do have a ficv on the back of the intake manifold on runner 1. check to make sure it isn't leaking there. mine came loose and my idle has never been the same.

my idle is around 1200 to 1500k and falls to about 8-900 hundred at normal temp. when its warrming up the idle is solid its just when it warms up. I switched my IACV for one i had on another engine. I cleaned it and reinstalled it i also checked the bottom but i think when i did that it messed the gasket up. when i feel my hand down there is a trace of coolent on the bottom but not much. could the ficv be it still?
