Civic DX motor oil line
 
on the connection next to the oil filter, what size extension do i need for the threading on the block? where can i find this fitting?

Wrong,you can use a 1/8npt it does work, its just a bit tight. We normally run a 1/8th die over our extensions, this cleans the taper up, so it threads in nicely.

BSP fittings are spendy. :o

dude is a piece of cake, you guys make it sound like its the end of the world to use a 1/8npt fitting on a honda block. Just run a DIE (like a tap and die set) that cuts threads. Get the 1/8npt die and it will just make a nice cut on your extension before you put it in the block, if you want I can take some pictures for you guys,, shhesh.

how u prevent like metal pieces going into the engine?

i know what a tap and die it :p just thinking it would be a basterd to get in there.. i guess do what u gotta do to save 10$

Sunpro make s a "gauge adapter kit" that they sell at Autozone for $5 or $6.. comes with the perfect BSP male to NPT female fitting. Plus, I ended up using another one of the fittings for my oil feed into the turbo, it was a bit tight, but ----, that thing isn't gonna leak!! ;D
