check out my new built d setup
well guys her it is, my final bid for 300 d series hp
y7 block crower rods srp 9:1 pistons y8 p&p head crower stage 1 turbo cam venom intake manifold bbk 70mm throttle body shitbird equal length turbo mani t3/t04b turbo custom coach ic turbo xs rfl tunertoys 550cc injectors uberdata on 16 psi. any ideas what this might hit hp wise? |

I think it will be close to 300 hp. but if was a b-series i would hit 300hp for sure :P .

I'm thinking it will hit 300 np but heres what I would do. Save up just a little more and sleeve it. Then there is NO question it will do 300 and more than 350 IMO. Infact I bet with some larger injectors you could easily get 400+ out of that turbo :)

on the topic, i would pay attention to the head a little more. maybe some v. springs/retainers. |

i do have a 3 bar map sensor, but that is a obvious addition as im running 16 psi so why even list it. it goes hand in hand.

A dude that lives next to me ( we met on HMT) made 302whp on his stock 100K+ mile Z6, with zero head work, stock cam, stock A6 intake, and lots of tuning. He worked at a dyno shop, and ever improving dyno tuning was the reason he made 302whp.... It was just a basic T3, Fmic set-up... Also had a thickhead gasket to drop the compression to 8.5/1 ( or so ). He ran a max of 17-19psi on race gas, and 10psi ( or so ) on the street. It lasted a few months, but was doomed by over heating ( non-turbocharging related ), which warped the head, then on the dyno it hydro-locked, and blew into about 5000 peices, he posted some SICK Pics...
