Cheapass Mani to take advantage of no PS or AC?
I pulled the AC and PS out of my 92 DA with a B18B in it. Log Mani's generally dont give a ---- about either, and my price range is <300$ so logs are really my only option. Are there any other cheapturbo manifolds that take advantage of the ---- I pulled out? Or I should I just be happy with a log and enjoy the extra space?

Be happy with a log and make one out of mild steel. $300 for a stainless log is stupid. A mild one can be made for around $80

Notice the "<" before the 300$. I am going to take a longass while and try to use 90% junkyard parts for my build. I've fallen in love with junkyard hopping, and this will be a test kit, only thing I will spend real money on is a wideband tunning kit to learn how its done for bigger/better future builds.

Ok, so that's a log manifold + what 2 extra elbows? Shhh, you know what I'm talking about.
And he said cheap. That manifold that you posted would be roughly $190 or whatever more than a log. The flow characteristics between the two isn't going to merit a $190 difference. Log manifolds rock and you know it. :6 |
