cheap ebay intercooler pipe kit on mini me with 42/48 t3
right now i have come cheap 2.5 intercooler piping for my ef civic. i was looking to grab a cheap intercooler kit off ebay but the one i wanted i only see in 2" not 2.5" its actually for an eg, but since my battery is in my trunk i can run the eg kit on my ef. my main question since i prob wont see past 9psi, and its a smaal turbo on a d series, should the 2" piping be fine. i guess it kinda defets the purpose of running the 70mm tbody. chris, chime in on this!
tjhis is the kit

i might go with a different complete kit seeing that my couplers and tbolt clamps are 2.5, dont want to rebuy all those

i believe the 2 inch piping would help with your spool times, and at 9 psi i dont think it would cause any kinda flow restrictions.
probally would be better to have 2in from turbo to intercooler and 2.5 from intercooler to manifold, but like i said i dont think it will make a difference with what you are doing.

you should probally just buy a universal kit and fab it to fit. just cut and mark then have a welder tig it togther for you. nothing is going fit exactly from car to car.
even with your battery relocated the eg and ef piping is a little different. ef piping is longer. i put a complete kit from an ef to an eg and the piping had to be modified and the bend from the tb to the ic barely fit.
