cheap, bendable charge piping??

I want to make charge piping for my setup,
but I want it to be cheap, as it will most likely be temporary. I'm using a small 3rd gen rx7 intercooler,
that I may swap out in the future,
so when I do that I'll want to redo my charge piping with something more permanent.. and ultimately more pimp :)

But for now, ill probably run 7-8psi MAX
and want some piping that I dont have to worry about welding up, and can just sort of bend in the shape I want.

can you guys recomment where to pick something up?

i've seen people use sort of accordion style metal piping,
non accordion metal piping(although it does have ridges in it so can be bent, just not accordion style ridges, heh).
and also some sort of rubber/silicon radiator style hose.

all of this would be great!
but I dont know where to pick it up.

a junkyard is my last resort, as there arent any near me,
i'm sure I could find one if I tried, but i'm thinking maybe theres something at home depot or somethin.
(also its pretty pimp to tell your friends about all the homedepot stuff in your car, haha).

Yes, there is something at homedepot its called PVC. Break out the hack saw and some PVC glue and you'll be money

Don't bother with pvc. Use flex exhaust pipeing. you can get if from Fleet Farm. Its probably the cheapest and easiest form of piping you can use for a temporary purpose (about $15 for more than enough). good luck

If you're going to replace it after a while, why not just get what you want then you won't have to waist money on your temporary stuff.

I used PVC at first... Wait... I still have 2 parts on my car that still is PVC, hehe... 13psi like nothing....

If that flexing exhuast piping stuff will handle boost, then you could use it to mold your IC piping, then take the mod to a muffer shop and have them bend you some 2 1/2'' pipes to match the ones you brought them...

Before 90 people say " muffler shops don't do mandral bending", I know that, but 2 1/4'' mandral bent piping can't flow too much more ( if any ) than crush bent 2 1/2'' piping...

Wow... that's a great idea... Why didn't I do that.. I'm calling them tomorrow !!! Wait.... If it ant broke, don't fix it..
