Charger R/T project

ok guys I need some help. Its been a while since I have been on here from my s-10 honda accord turbo charging days.

first part I want a single turbo for this monster I read the sticky and realized I can weld and bend metal but that math completly outta my league. So for the 5.7 hemi 7 psi. The calc tell me that would be 435 crank hp so what turbo can produce that?

second how familiar are you guys with the squires style setups. There is 0 room in the engine bay but the mufflers are bigger then the ls block. I can put it back there and do what its gotta do.

Last how to add more fuel to the big heated monster? I was going to try extra injector controllers but I was curious if the AFC hack could be implemented on the Hemi.

my bad I forgot to mention this is a 06. I have done a bunch of 4 bangers since the last time I visited and all with knowledge I gained here. Mostly what I need to know is what turbo will make 7 psi at around 2500 rpms that can make about 500hp.

Does STS offer a remote mount kit for the vehicle?I would copy there setup as I think turbo selction is a little different when doing the remote mount.Alot of people don't like the STS setups but they seem to produce pretty decent numbers and save so many headaches.

Edit- I just looked on there site and they use a additinional injector and "a mechanical method for retarding timing" for there Hemi truck kits.I dont see any specs on what turbo they just list a Garrett turbo.Maybe do some looking around on Hemi forums and see who is using the kit and ask what the setup is.There are many simple add. injector controllers out there but the timing side I'm pretty curious what they have going.

A remote mounted system might be the best idea. I have seen Magnums and 300C's and I can agree there is just no space between the towers for twin turbo system.

For fuel control, Im not totally up to date on the Hemi's PCM, but you should be able to get Split Second FTC-1 to work or Perfect Power SMT-7.

I'm not sure how those would effect your "Power on demand" ignition system. At cruise the car is only firing 4 cylinders. Under no load or little load prolly won't effect drivablity.

You might want to see if somebody is offering a supercharger system for the Hemi's and how they are getting around that.

Otherwise the remote mount will make it alot eaiser to mount and the charge tube back up to the throttle body will be fine.

I'm currently planning a system for my Dodge Neon.

You might wanna contact STS about using your car for a prototype as well.

Good Luck
