charge piping question (no definite answer in stickys)
i was wondering if i can stay with 1 1/2 inch charge piping because thats all the bigger the turbo outlet is.?? i notice in the newbie turbo post it says 2-2.5 but would that just mean the turbo would need to push more air in order to fill up that volume and reach the pressure? what should i do 1.5 inch? or 2inch+ thanks

definitly go bigger than 1.5"
think of it kind of like exhuast...its just makes less restriction on the air flowing through it. remember, its not necessarily PSI you want. its CFMs

that makes sense..i'm gonna try to keep it the same size as the throttle body, and i can just reduce it when i get to the turbo. thanks for the help

Re:charge piping question (no definite answer in stickys)
my TB takes 2.5" just fine. and i would rather it get bigger coming out of the turbo instead of getting bigger going into the TB. plus most intercoolers take either a 2" or 2.5" pipe.
