Default Charge pipes on a budget...

hey y'all... i've got just about all the parts for my setup minus 450s and charge pipes...
(y8, with AC/PS,auto)
i know this sounds ghetto but i don't feel like spending $100 on a charge pipes and as i was going through Lowes the other day i walked down through the pipe section and got to lookin at the PVC. whats the harm in using 2-2.5" pvc with the exception of right off the turbo/IM?

i could use the pipefittings on the angles and use silicon on the joints that i'd need to pull apart to get it in there....

i wouldnt wanna spend my money and time puttin it together then have a pipe blow up in my car. i'd rather do it right the first time.

IMO $100 is much more worth it than wasting your time to do it over.

PVC charge pipes have been proven to work. The majority of stock turbo cars don't even use metal for charge piping.

they now have flexible pvc piping, that could be useful in corners and weird bends.

Dont use PVC pipe.. use black ABS pipe, you can get it at home depot, its about the same price as PVC and wont put off nasty fumes like PVC when it gets hot.

We used all black ABS 2.5in piping on my buddies SBC single turbo setup... works perfect. and we used glue to keep them together.
