What kind of piping do you guys use for your charge pipes(Steel exhaust piping, Aluminum, Flex exhaust pipe, Raidator Hose)? I am using TDO4 turbocharger off a 1991 Egal Talon for my DOCH ZC. What size of pipe would you suggest i use with it, 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/4", 2 1/2"? What do you guys use on your setups? Thanks later.

 

Funny youy ask.If you have access to a friendly neighberhood junkyard I would see if you can find some off multiple Volvos.I just got some off 2 cars that will work with minor modifications on my Civic(cut and paste with ruber couplings and hose clamps).I paid 30 bucks for 4-2 inch pipes with bends,1 with a 45 degree bend that goes frome 2 to 2 1/2 inch,and 1-21/2 that 90s out of the throttle boady.Not bad for aluminum charge pipes frome the junk yard!

 

Buy some JCWhitney pipes mandrel bent pipes. I beleive 2.25 will be more than enough for your charge pipes.

 

2" PVC pipe good up to 200psi. Gotta love that Lowe's or Home Depot special.
