Re: ceramic coat the china mani?
so beer is a better way to spend some money then ceramic coated mani ? cause ill will just buy beer, but it if actually helps keep the heat in or anything useful i might do it

Re: ceramic coat the china mani?
To be truthful I'd go with the HEAT WRAP and the Stainless ties, THEY 100% are in my favor, if you can put your hand on the wrap for 5 seconds without gettign burned after a pass, ITS A SURE THING Also if you can afford it get the spray to hold it place if the ties should break. It's like hair spay but for fibergalss. ;D

Re: ceramic coat the china mani?
Ceramic coating > heat wrapping. Heat wrap + engine grease = not so clean looking engine bay . Its simple maths.

Re: ceramic coat the china mani?
ceramic coat + wrap is the secret!!
but if you got one of those ebay cast manis, make sure to inspect the inside and break off all the iron flashing that are protruding inside this thing. i removed a HANDFULL of turbine damaging crap from inside the last such manif got. |
