CENTERFORCE AND ACT TOGETHER??
 

HAS ANYONE EVER PUT A ACT PRESSURE PLATE TOGETHER WITH AN CENTERFORCE CLUTCH DISK. FINALLY AFTER GETTING MY X RUNNING GOOD I WENT TO THE TRACK SWEET LAUNCH WITH THE DRAG RADIALS BUT 2ND GEAR WAS ALL REV AND NO GO. EVEN AFTER EASING OF THE GAS AND ROLLING BACK ON IT STILL NO GO. HALF WAY DOWN THE TRACK I JUST GAVE UP AND RAN A 17.4 IN THE PROCESS. VERY EMBARRASSING. I WANT TO GET AN ACT PRESSURE PLATE AND I C THAT IN MOST THE KITS THEY USE A ORGANIC CLUTCH SO SHOULDNT A CENTERFORCE BE GOOD OR WILL IT NOT HOLD THE PRESSURE

I don't see why it wont work. We've mix-matched stuff before. Always worked for us. ;D

ok heres the question. my motor will be done in a week so ill be kind of low on cash. which should i do. act pressure plate with the centerforce clutch or should i just get a ram bronze 6puck disk.

I dont know why but that ram BRONZE 6-puck makes me think thats it isnt very street able.. kind of like.. engaged, not engaged.. no in between.

the 6 puck is enough to rip you out of your seat. Its not VERY streetable. I had the same idea of a 6 puck till i drove a car with one. let out the clutch a little and WAM its there.
