CDM turbo kit install. The Real Deal
#43
I just got one of these kits from Scott. I got just about 1000 miles on it and no problems. Only complaint is that it was missing the oil return flange but i also recieved some things that were not listed in the kit. I got a wastegate elbow, a dumptube and a manual boost controler. Also some extra wastegate springs. As far as the oil return flange goes, I just modified one from an old 16g oil return I had laying around. Good to go. If you are considering this route for a stock block kit. I highly recommend. It definately makes enough boost to wreck oem headgaskets and clutches. Thanks Scott, I will be ordering one or two more of these for a couple friends.

hey scott or anyone who knows. you said this in the beginning of the post. "when i fired the car up the first time i held the turbo from spinning for a few seconds. who knows if this helps the CDM turbo last, but i remember reading it a long time ago and i figured it couldnt hurt". does this mean you literaly held the turbine, like with you hand, or is there a certain way to do this and can someone expain what this does for the turbo.
