Put a 50 shot on it. It will probably pop either way.

VW K03 turbo (1.8t) would be huge for that motor, but are easy to find and cheap.

look at a try a t25 or gt25 that should help hit you goal. If you use a gt15 or gt17 it will spool up fast but depending on the motor you may not quite 100 bhp. By the way you would probably need closer to .6 or .7 bar to reach you goal beacuse you have to take in flow loses going through piping, intercooler and manifold. Since be setup remote there will be more piping than normal. Do not forget fuel management on this car.

Not going to happen at .5 bar

i was always thinking its not the ammount of boost that make the power

it was the ammount of air ;)

right??

yes but you can choise always a big turbo with good CFMs in that case, that guy should be OK with a GT42 runing ------- low boost :y

samething, K03 should works OK. look for mercedes diesel engines turbochargeds.

That small turbo making 5psi will double your low end torque. its about flow not pressure "I know pressure is flow but really its about the cfm". It would be important to use proper sized boost tubing for the turbo so as not to slow down the flow of air. ie big tubing and small turbo = pressure tank effect.

All depends on your goal's, if you want big power up top you use a big turbo and suffer off boost.
If you want big lowend power use a small turbo with a large wastegate, and small tubing. "and you wont get huge topend power. If you want the perfect setup right smack in the middle you need to do some resrearch and alot of math. Or copy someone else's config that has gotten it right.
