CCA intercooler fit on EG hatch without cutting!?
Does anyone out there know from experience if it is at all possible to make the CCA intercoolers offered here on HMT fit on an EG hatch WITHOUT CUTTING ANYTHING
It sounds like the best fitting one for EG's is the "offset endtanks w/ top brackets." However, since I just got my whole car repainted and a brand new front bumper, I don't want to cut ANYTHING. Not the center grill or areas...NOTHING! Need to know before buying one, thanks!!!
FYI: I looked at my car and there seems to be a few inches of space between the bumper support and radiator, so I'm hoping to put it in that space so I don't have to cut. BUT, as always, I thought I'd ask first. THANKS!!!

You have to cut the inside of the grill a little bit to mae the intercooler fit but you have to cut quite a bit on the ends(where the factory fog lites go) to let your charge pipes fit nicely.
Here is a picture of how I had it on my old civic.

ge the 5 inche with off set endtanks.
you dont need to cut off the grill but you DO need to trim it.

not even the foglight cover thingy needs to be trimmed if you are using tight enough bends.

Wow good info from both of you, thanks
Anyone else w/ a CCA intercooler on an EG care to respond? Looks like I should go with their offset entanks w/ top brackets, unless someone else has another suggestion? thanks.
