ok so i took off my catch can filter today and there was a wight with a little brown paste on the opening and in the filter
im wondering if thats normal
iv replaced my head gasket and got arp studs
but with my boost creap and tune only set to 10 psi i get ping at WOT (i try to avoid it)
i have 2 hoses going to the catch can and a small filter siting on top of it

im also wondering what every one else is finding in there catch cans

Crap is exactly the word...its all sort of ---- mixed together. Oil vapor, fuel, carbon, moisture...

Oh yeah man, that goop is normal. It's a little bit of all the ugly ---- it takes to make a nice big contained explosion and the aftermath. The good news is that it's in the can and not the motor .
