pretty common placement. It isn't like it is up near the head. Ideally you would want it over the collector, but it isn't too far off.

The Ching Chong WG should be fine. Lots of people have reported them working well. The diaphragms just seem a little cheap.

if your worried as much as you seem you are, jst tell your tuner to make a boost cut at around 10.5-10.8psi range if your running a stock map sensor.

not so much worried as i dont want to pay to have exhaust made for this ---- then turns out it sucks and then have to change my setup and have my ---- re welded. sucks having no welder/welding skills. i do have a 3 bar or whatever those free ones were map sensor not sure if im gona need it yet, is that what stock honda ones read to 10psi?

no, they are a 1bar map sensor. so 14.7psi. but its effected by your altitude and other ---- that i have no idea about. lol
anything above 11psi you will risk the boost cut not working b/c the map sensor didnt read it. and as far as fittment goes you are fine. my tuner fast2camciv/sik_sohc ran the same exact setup in his 4door, only with a d series tho.
