Re: carb suitable for turbo

draw through = no mods needed

blow through = weber, holley, etc. weber will work fine, go pick one up from a jaguar

go to a junkyard. look for a toyota pickup with a non-stock carb or an older jag/bmw. standard carb price, it's a stock carb.

you're right about that. i don't understand ---- about installing a turbo on a carb'ed car. this is the car and the stock carb:

now, about the jag or old bimmer stock carbs. Those cars are really hard to find.. Toyota Pick Ups are all diesel here so.. no carbs!

you're wearing a sweater. you british?

go find an old american car, truck, tell me what the carb is on there, or get a jag SU carb, and mount it to the turbo compressor inlet. those are good carbs

that's a friend of mine. No, not british.. Portuguese. I'm looking for an american car for years to restore. Nothing yet! The usual carbs here are Varajett, weak webers, Piersburg. I have an SU on a '77 Opel but it's probably too small to use with boost.
