i finished installing a turbo kit on my 90crx si and it won't fire up. i started it up fine with 450's and afc before i took it apart. now it won't fire up. i've got spark and fuel. can anyone give me some ideas of what to look at? thanks

 

well if u have spark and fuel it should start if the timing is right(check it) but maybe ur getting to much fuel?

 

haven't touched the timing so that shouldn't be the problem. i think maybe its flooded or something. i even put my stock injectors back in and it wouldn't start.

 

maybe you soldered or hooked up the afc wrong? or maybe you soldered the afc wires too long next to the engine's computer, and melted something!?

 

hrmm... the only thing I can suggest is double and triple check everything.

 

pull the plugs and see what they look like.

 

i know its not the afc because i had it in my car for months. the problem is im not getting spark. everyonce in a while a plug will fire but not like they are suppose to. im borrow a coil from my friend and see if those guys at the shop were numb. could it be my ignitor or plug wires? I wanna start boosting so bad. Thanks.

 

sounds like a coil problem...
try swapping the coil, and then give it a shot.
if that doesn't work, take off the turbo, and replace it with C4...use the wires that u used for the injectors, and attach them to the C4, and blow the engine up...literally.
